rachel+ryan's August Gate Church Wedding was a great, warm, loving experience on such a cold winter day. August Gate's historical look with modern accents provided the perfect setting for rachel+ryan's ceremony. Their wedding day started off in Saint Louis City, after the wedding we headed to Crave on Saint Louis University School of Medicine campus for some quick images. Crave was a special place for these two and I was so happy we were able to grab some moments there for them. After Crave we headed to the Urban Chestnut in the Grove for some craft beer and some more relaxed images. I don't think rachel+ryan had one moment that day when they weren't smiling. These two are genuinely great people with big hearts and a bright future together. katie and I were so glad to be there to capture their new beginning.
jill+dustin. had a beautiful ceremony at St. Joan of Arch Catholic Church in South Saint Louis. After the ceremony we headed to the Dwight Davis tennis courts for some fun photos. I think jill+dustin. had a great time working on their backhand while getting some unique photos. After the tennis court we had a rare opportunity to go inside the St. Louis Central Public Library. Quick note jill's father headed the restoration of the library. We went to his favorite wing, the fine Arts, to capture some beautiful shots with the architecture ceilings and rich wood accents. We finished the night out at Moulin Events . The team there did a wonderful job with all the details and the place simply looked amazing.
Picture this... a fun style bride and groom, a landmark location, and a unique halftime show between the ceremony and reception. nikki+josh.'s Saint Louis Zoo had all of that wrapped in a perfectly planned evening. We started the day off with the gents getting ready while taking in a ball game. Take note of the Lego cuff links and velociraptor socks, my kind of details guys, great job! We then headed to the Chase Park Plaza to grab some shots of nikki, the girls and the elegant wedding dress wrapped in light from the window. I never had a bride come down the aisle to the Jurassic Park Theme, but wow, it fit the theme of the wedding, it fit the couple, and it was a beautiful play in to the ceremony. Just before heading into the reception nikki+josh. treated their guests to a private sea lion show. Nikki the Sea Lion was able to grab some post ceremony kisses with the couple to kick off the show. No need to imagine the great day, check out their story below.
