Wow. Thank you Jen and Mark for taking me to the STL Botanical Garden for your engagement session! This was the first time I had ever been there. There were so many beautiful things to see. For this engagement session we went to a few historic locations. First was the Delmar Loop to get some shots with the trolley, then to the Botanical Garden to get some great nature shots, we then went to Art Hill for a bit of relaxing and a stroll at the Emerson Grand Basin. Finaly it was off to Keener Plaza to get the must have Arch shots. If you enjoy the work be sure to keep up on the Facebook page. AND if you'd like to get in touch hit me up on the contact page.

Over the summer I had the privilege of taking some engagement photos of Tori and Grant at a local carnival. While it was a whole lot of fun we knew we wanted to do a more intimate shoot in the fall. So, here it is. These shots were taken just before sunrise and about an hour into the morning, this was to capture as much of that soft morning glow as possible. I must give props to the team over at Six North in Town and Country they were both great baristas and excited to see the engagement session as well. Tori's beautiful ring was hand crafted by local jeweler Steven Paige of Clayton Jewelers.
First let me say how awesome it was to have Jessica and Paul take us out to Saint Albans for their Engagement Session! If you've never been...go! Pristine courses and scenic views! Jessica and Paul made it easy on me, this couple is so photogenic and took direction so well they didn't need much coaching at all. Great job guys! I'm so happy with how this session turned out! Who doesn't love a carnival?! This was the perfect setting for Tori and Grant's engagement session. This was a challenge (due to everybody and their brother was there that day) and also one of the funnest (not even a word I know) sessions I've had. The carnival was held on the parking lot of the South County Mall in Saint Louis County, MO. You can see it from 270 and it comes every year. My only regret from this shoot is not taking Grant up on trying fried Oreo's... oh well I guess there's always next year. Also, while this session was fun we're planning a more intimate engagement session near the fall so keep your eyes open for that one to come out in the near future. For Annie and Trent's St. Louis Engagement session we went to Forest Park. It was a summer day so the area around the statue was pretty packed. This actually was a good thing because it gave me a great perspective of the statue by forcing me to crop around people. We were also able to get in some creative images on the outside of the art museum.
